FactCheck
To verify the truth behind the viral claim, a keyword search was conducted on Google. No reliable news reports or official announcements were found confirming that PM Modi made any such statement regarding sugar prices. Keyframes extracted from the viral clip were subjected to a reverse image search using Google Lens. This led to the original video uploaded on the official YouTube channel of PMO India on August 15, 2026. In the nearly 1-hour and 39-minute long Independence Day address, PM Modi did not mention sugar prices anywhere during his speech.

To further verify the authenticity of the video, it was scanned using the AI detection tool HIVE Moderation. The results indicated a 94% probability that PM Modi's speech in the video is AI-generated.
The audio of the viral video was analyzed using Resemble AI. The tool's analysis confirmed that the audio was AI-generated, indicating that the original voice track had been manipulated/cloned.

Our research confirms that the claim associated with the viral video is false. The video has been created using AI tools and edited to mislead the public.

Fact Check:
To investigate the viral video, reverse image searches were conducted using keyframes extracted from the clip. This led to an Instagram post uploaded on July 18. The caption accompanying the video clearly identified the footage as being from the Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, Odisha.

Fact Check
To verify the claim, we examined official records related to agreements between Italy and Israel. Data available from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation shows that multiple bilateral agreements between the two countries remain in force in 2026.

Further research found reports related to discussions within the European Union regarding the suspension of certain cooperation arrangements with Israel. During a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg, Spain and Ireland renewed calls to review the EU-Israel Association Agreement. However, Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani reportedly stated that no decision would be taken that day. A closer examination of the viral clip revealed several visual inconsistencies commonly associated with AI-generated content, including unnatural facial movements, irregular body gestures, and unrealistic scene transitions.
To further verify the footage, we analysed it using the DeepFake-o-Meter tool. Results from three separate detection models indicated that the video was likely generated using artificial intelligence.
Conclusion
CyberPeace Research Wing research found that the viral video allegedly showing Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni angrily terminating agreements with Israel is AI-generated. There is no evidence that the incident shown in the clip actually occurred.

Fact Check
The viral video is not recent. It dates back to 2016 and is related to a completely different context. During the investigation, we found the same footage on the official YouTube channel of Madame Tussauds London, uploaded on March 16, 2016.
According to the video details, it shows the process of taking measurements for a wax statue of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for installation at Madame Tussauds. A team of artists and experts had visited the Prime Minister’s residence in Delhi for this purpose.
Conclusion
The viral claim that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is being “made up” by a team is false. The footage is from 2016 and shows a measurement session conducted for his wax statue at Madame Tussauds Museum.

Fact Check
During the investigation, we searched for the alleged statement using relevant keywords but found no credible reports or evidence supporting the claim. We then examined Navbharat Times’ official social media handles. A similar-looking but authentic postcard was found on the official Facebook page of Navbharat Times (Uttar Pradesh) dated May 18, 2026.
The original post quoted Ravi Kishan differently, stating that criticism of the Prime Minister should be avoided, or else consequences may follow. Nowhere in the authentic post is the viral controversial remark mentioned.
Further investigation revealed that Navbharat Times itself issued a clarification on its official X handle, stating that the viral post is fake and that legal action would be taken against misuse of its name.
Conclusion
The viral claim is false. The authentic Navbharat Times postcard shows Ravi Kishan saying that criticism of the Prime Minister should be stopped, or there would be consequences. The viral graphic has been altered to spread misinformation.

Fact Check
To verify the authenticity of the viral video, we first searched the internet using relevant keywords. However, we found no credible media reports, interviews, or posts from Shah Rukh Khan’s official social media accounts mentioning any support for the ‘Cockroach Janta Party’. Notably, if a major actor like Shah Rukh Khan had publicly supported any political or social media movement, it would have received widespread media coverage.
We then analysed key frames from the viral clip using Google Lens. During the investigation, we found an original video uploaded on September 10, 2023, on the YouTube channel of Sri Gokulam Movies. The footage was from the audio launch event of the film Jawan, where Shah Rukh Khan appeared in the same outfit seen in the viral clip.

During the investigation, we also found several media reports covering the Jawan audio launch event, showing Shah Rukh Khan in the same attire as seen in the viral clip. For instance, a report published by Hindustan Times extensively covered the Chennai event, confirming that the viral footage was taken from the promotional event of the film.
To further examine the audio in the viral clip, we analysed it using the AI detection tool Resemble AI. The tool flagged the voice in the video as likely fake and AI-generated.
Conclusion
The investigation clearly shows that the claim about Shah Rukh Khan supporting or joining the ‘Cockroach Janta Party’ (CJP) is false. The viral video is actually from the 2023 audio launch event of the film Jawan, while the audio added to the clip has been generated using AI.

In the clip, several individuals along with security personnel can be seen laying barbed wire fencing near a border area. The video is being shared with the claim that it shows fencing work underway on the India-Bangladesh border in West Bengal after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) allegedly came to power in the state.

An X user named “Gopal Sanatani” shared the viral video on May 26, 2026, with the caption:“Voting in the right place keeps the country secure. Now no outsider will be able to snatch the rights of Indian citizens.”The archived link to the post is provided below.
Fact Check
To verify the authenticity of the viral claim, we extracted several key frames from the video and conducted reverse image searches using Google. However, we could not find any credible information or authentic reports related to the visuals shown in the clip. We also searched using relevant keywords on Google, but no trustworthy news reports connected to the claim were found.
Upon closely examining the video, several visual inconsistencies became noticeable. At one point, an object resembling a piece of paper suddenly appears in a soldier’s hand and then disappears moments later. In another scene, a man installing the fencing appears to pass directly through the barbed wire and emerges unharmed, despite the sharp wires visible in the video. These irregularities raised suspicion that the clip had been artificially generated. To further investigate, we analysed the video using AI detection tools. The analysis conducted through Hive Moderation indicated a high probability — around 80 percent — that the video was AI-generated.
Additionally, the video was examined using another AI detection platform, “AI or Not,” which indicated nearly a 99 percent likelihood that the clip had been created using artificial intelligence.
Conclusion
Our investigation found that the viral video claiming to show fencing work along the West Bengal-Bangladesh border is fake. The footage does not depict a real incident and was generated using Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Fact Check
To verify the claim, we closely examined the viral video and noticed the logo of NDTV in the clip. Based on this clue, we searched NDTV’s official YouTube channel using relevant keywords and found the original video uploaded on September 16, 2018. In the full video, Baba Ramdev is seen making the viral statement during the NDTV Youth Conclave. During the discussion, the anchor had asked him a question regarding rising fuel prices, and Ramdev responded with the now-viral remarks in that context.
During further searches, we also found reports about the same statement on the website of Oneindia dated September 17, 2018. The report quoted Ramdev as saying that if the government allowed him to set up petrol pumps and offered some tax relief, he could provide fuel at Rs 35-40 per litre. He also suggested bringing petroleum products under GST, preferably in the 5 to 12 percent slab, to provide relief to consumers.
Our research confirmed that Baba Ramdev’s viral statement dates back to 2018 and has no connection with the recent rise in fuel prices.
Conclusion
The viral post was found to be misleading. Baba Ramdev made the statement in September 2018 during a private news channel event. His old remarks are now being circulated out of context to create confusion over the current fuel price situation.

Fact Check
On closely examining the video, several visual inconsistencies were noticed. The leopard’s body appears distorted at multiple points in the clip. In some frames, parts of the animal’s body seem to merge into the background, while in others, sections appear incomplete or disappear entirely — something not typically seen in authentic footage. In the final part of the video, where the leopard is allegedly shown attacking a passenger, the person’s hands, limbs, and body also appear blurred and distorted. Additionally, unusual and selective blurring can be observed throughout the video, indicating possible editing or AI manipulation.
To further verify the clip, we scanned the viral video using the AI detection tool Sightengine. According to the results, the video showed an 86 percent probability of being AI-generated.
As part of the research , we also analysed the clip using another AI detection platform, UndetectableTM AI, which likewise indicated that the viral video was AI-generated.
Conclusion
Our research found that the viral video claiming to show a leopard dragging away a passenger from a moving train is fake. The clip is AI-generated and does not depict a real incident.

According to the report, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Korea district, Chhattisgarh, arrested a corrupt police station in-charge while accepting a bribe of ₹25,000. After being caught, the officer attempted to assert authority using his uniform and resisted the search procedure, but soon gave up. Further verification using keywords from the Navbharat Times report led to a similar story published by Dainik Bhaskar, which also contained the same visuals.
Additionally, a related context about the satirical “Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)” trend was found in a Times Now Hindi report, which explains that the term emerged as an online satire following a controversial remark attributed to the Chief Justice of India regarding unemployed youth. The statement was later clarified.
Conclusion
The research confirms that the viral video has no connection with the ‘Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)’. The original footage is from a February 2026 incident in which Chhattisgarh Police sub-inspector Abdul Munaf was arrested by the ACB in a bribery case involving ₹25,000. Fact Check
To verify the claim, we converted the viral clip into key frames and conducted a reverse image search. During the research, we found the original video uploaded on May 24, 2026, on the official YouTube channel of the Ministry of External Affairs.
The video was captioned:“Press conference of EAM Dr S Jaishankar and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.”
A review of the full press conference confirmed that Jaishankar made no mention of any “Cockroach Party,” its alleged handlers, or any Pakistani or Iranian proxy network. Further verification of the official transcripts published by both the Indian Ministry of External Affairs and the United States Department of State also found no references to the terms “Cockroach Party,” “handlers,” “Pakistani proxy,” or any statements matching the viral claim.

Fact Check
To verify the viral claim, we performed a reverse search using key frames from the video. During the research, we found the original video uploaded on the Facebook page of ANI on May 13, 2026.
The caption of the post read:“War does not seem to be ending…” Ravi Kishan warns the country about the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.At around the 4-minute-40-second timestamp, an ANI reporter asks Ravi Kishan about Rahul Gandhi distancing himself from the CBI Director selection process. Responding to that question, Ravi Kishan makes the remarks that later went viral.
This clearly establishes that Ravi Kishan was not referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but was commenting on Rahul Gandhi. In his response, he says that “it is good that he has freed himself” and refers to Rahul Gandhi as an “azad parinda” (free bird).
During the research, we also found the same video posted on Ravi Kishan’s official X account on May 23. The caption of the post stated:“Congress should now free its prince Rahul Gandhi.”This further confirms that the viral clip has been misleadingly edited and shared out of context

A detailed analysis of the video shows clear signs of manipulation. The person appearing in the latter part of the clip does not match Suvendu Adhikari.
Additionally, the video was tested using an AI detection tool (Hive Moderation), which indicated a 98.8% probability of AI-generated content, particularly around the 0:25 timestamp.
Further verification through reverse image search of key frames led to an original press byte of Suvendu Adhikari posted by PTI News on May 6. In that authentic video, he is seen speaking about taking strict legal action against criminals, with no mention of any religious community or communal statements.

Research by the CyberPeace Research Wing confirmed that both viral visuals had been doctored and were being shared with false claims.

Meanwhile, another manipulated image spread rapidly online, falsely portraying Trump bowing while greeting Xi Jinping. However, a review of the The White House livestream on YouTube showed that Joe Biden greeted Xi Jinping immediately after he stepped out of his vehicle and shook hands with him before both leaders walked inside together. At no point in the footage did Biden turn his back or look away from Xi.
