Fact Check:
To verify the viral claim, the Desk conducted a keyword search on Google. However, no credible news report or official statement was found confirming that Dharmendra Pradhan had made such remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rajnath Singh, or the Ambani-Adani families. During further research, the Desk examined Dharmendra Pradhan’s official X account. The Desk found a video posted by him on June 18, 2026.
A comparison between the viral video and the original video showed that the visuals in both clips were identical. However, the audio and statements in the viral video did not match the original video. In the original video, Dharmendra Pradhan did not make any remarks related to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rajnath Singh, the Ambani-Adani families, or alleged question paper leaks. Instead, he spoke about Odisha’s traditional ‘Sheetal Shashti’ festival, its cultural and spiritual significance, and encouraged people to participate in the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign.

Fact Check:
As part of our research , we first closely examined the viral video. Upon careful observation, several inconsistencies were noticed. The Prime Minister’s facial expressions and hand movements appeared unnatural. The lip-sync and overall visual presentation also raised suspicions about the clip being digitally manipulated. To verify this further, we analyzed the video using the AI detection tool Hive Moderation. The tool’s analysis indicated a 99% probability that the video was AI-generated.
To independently confirm the findings, we also ran the clip through another detection platform, Undetectable.ai. Its analysis likewise indicated a very high likelihood that the video was created using artificial intelligence.
Conclusion:
Our research confirms that the viral video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi praising Christianity and making the alleged statement about heaven is fake. The clip has been generated using AI tools and does not depict a real statement made by the Prime Minister.

Fact Check
We extracted several keyframes from the viral video and conducted a reverse image search using Google Lens. The search did not lead to any credible news reports or verified sources related to the footage. We then closely examined the video and observed several visual inconsistencies. In the opening frames, the soldiers, military vehicles, and surrounding objects display unnatural shapes and distortions—artifacts commonly associated with AI-generated content. In the next stage of our research, we analysed the clip using the AI detection tool Sightengine. The analysis indicated that the video is approximately 66 per cent AI-generated, further supporting our findings that the footage is not authentic.
Another analysis of the recording using the DetectVideo AI tool found a 72 per cent probability that it was generated using artificial intelligence (AI).
Finally, we searched for recent developments related to the US-Iran tensions using relevant keywords on Google. During the search, we found an NDTV report published on July 9, 2026. The report explains that despite ongoing diplomatic engagement, tensions between the United States and Iran continue to persist due to decades-old political, strategic, and geopolitical disputes. It discusses why incidents of military escalation continue to occur despite repeated attempts at dialogue and de-escalation.

Our research found that the viral video is not genuine. It is an AI-generated video being circulated with a false claim linking it to recent US military strikes on Iran. There is no credible evidence to suggest that the video depicts any real incident connected to the current US-Iran conflict.
