Fact Check:
To verify the claim, we conducted a reverse image search of keyframes from the viral video using Google Lens. During the search, we found the same video posted on August 8 on the X account of a user named Rahul Nanda. The post stated that the video had been created using AI.

We then analysed the viral video using the AI detection tool Hive Moderation. The tool gave the video a 99.8 per cent score for being potentially AI-generated.
As part of the research, we also checked the video using another AI detection tool, Deepfake-O-Meter. Six different detectors on the tool indicated a high probability that the video was AI-generated.
Conclusion
The evidence gathered during our research establishes that the viral video claiming to show a thief evading police in Indore is AI-generated. Therefore, the claim is misleading.

He shared the following thoughts at the launch. He said there is dire need to educate parents about online safety in order to let the information trickle down to their children. This leads to the possibility that fraudsters may manipulate susceptible users via juice jacking.

It isa form of cyber attack where a public USB charging port is fiddled with and infected using hardware and software changes to pocket data or install malware on devices connected to it. To verify the claim, we first searched Google using relevant keywords. During this process, we found a report published on March 1, 2026, by the Indian news outlet Dainik Bhaskar.
According to the report, tensions in the Middle East escalated amid the Israel–Iran conflict, impacting several countries in the region. A drone incident reportedly occurred near Burj Khalifa, prompting authorities to evacuate the building as a precautionary measure and temporarily switch off its lights. However, the visuals seen in the viral video do not match the details or imagery described in the report. Upon closely examining the viral clip, we noticed several technical inconsistencies and unusual visual elements, raising suspicions that the video might have been generated using artificial intelligence. To verify this, we analyzed the video using the AI detection tool Sightengine. The results indicated a 99% probability that the video was AI-generated.
