Background:
In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, cyber threats such as phishing, identity theft, online fraud, misinformation, and cyberbullying have become increasingly prevalent. These threats compromise individual safety, organizational security, and national digital infrastructure. To mitigate these risks and build a resilient cyberspace, it is essential to empower citizens with cyber hygiene practices and awareness.
CyberPeace Corps, an initiative by the CyberPeace Foundation, aims to build a community of digitally aware and responsible netizens who can act as catalysts for change by spreading awareness and fostering cyber hygiene practices.
Objective:
The primary objective of this Cyber Awareness Session is to:
- Enhance digital literacy and cyber hygiene among participants.
- Equip attendees with the knowledge to identify and respond to common cyber threats.
- Promote ethical digital behavior and responsible online citizenship.
- Encourage participants to become CyberPeace Corps Ambassadors within their communities.
