About the event

In a groundbreaking initiative to enhance global cybersecurity, CyberPeace and Kaspersky are thrilled to announce the Kaspersky Interactive Protection Simulation Exercise. This premier cyber exercise is set to take place on 13th August and will focus on the protection of critical information infrastructure through an immersive, real-life simulation of a sophisticated cyber attack.

The Kaspersky Interactive Protection Simulation Exercise is designed to test and elevate the preparedness of organizations and individuals in safeguarding against advanced cyber threats. Leveraging the expertise and resources of both CyberPeace, a leading advocate for cyber peace and security, and Kaspersky, a global leader in cybersecurity solutions, this exercise will provide participants with an unparalleled opportunity to engage in a realistic and dynamic threat scenario.

Key Highlights of the Exercise:

  • Real-Life Simulation: Participants will experience a simulated cyber attack that mirrors the complexities and nuances of actual threats faced by critical infrastructure sectors. This hands-on approach will enable them to develop and refine their response strategies in a controlled environment.
  • Critical Infrastructure Focus: The exercise will center around the protection of essential information systems that underpin vital services and industries. This focus ensures that participants gain insights into the specific challenges and solutions relevant to safeguarding these crucial assets.
  • Expert Guidance: Both CyberPeace and Kaspersky will provide expert support throughout the exercise. Participants will benefit from real-time feedback, strategic insights, and advanced tools to effectively navigate the simulation and strengthen their cybersecurity posture.
  • Collaborative Learning: By bringing together a diverse group of stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector entities, and cybersecurity professionals, the exercise fosters collaborative learning and knowledge sharing. This collective effort aims to build a more resilient cyber defense community.
  • Enhanced Preparedness: The simulation is designed to identify vulnerabilities, test response mechanisms, and enhance the overall readiness of participants. Insights gained from the exercise will be instrumental in refining security protocols and mitigating risks in real-world scenarios.
